A Community Outreach Sponsored Event

1 in 4 people in Los Angeles experiences hunger. Fight hunger with us by giving just a little bit of your time! Join us on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, at 9:00AM at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for this volunteer opportunity. Together, we will help with various projects, such as: assembling shelf-stable food packages, assembling 5 lb. produce bags, or sorting through assorted goods.  

This is a great opportunity to volunteer with CFALA members and give back to our community!

Please note that registration will be in 2 parts: first through CFALA’s website and then through the food bank’s portal. Both registrations will need to be completed by May 11^th. Registration for CFALA’s website will close at 12pm (PT) on May 11^th.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has the following requirements:
Minimum age requirement is 18 to participate.
Volunteers MUST be able to lift between 10-25lbs
