The Wealth Management League is an invitation-only idea-sharing network of experienced and intellectually curious financial advisory professionals in the greater Los Angeles area who wish to advance the body of knowledge in wealth management. The Wealth Management league is a sub group under the Wealth Management Advisory Council of CFA Society Los Angeles.
League members, are invited to attend Private Wealth Summits that feature presentations by top thought leaders in wealth management along with roundtables. These summits are ideal to discuss topics and challenges in private wealth with your equally experienced peers.
Academic evidence indicates that the wealth management industry has substantial room for improvement in client outcomes. The Wealth Management League is a network of professionals who have demonstrated an interest in addressing this gap and cultivating professional excellence. Eligibility for the League is determined by the 10-member Wealth Management Advisory Council and is open to both CFA charter holders and non-charter holders. Criteria include:
- At least 10 years of experience in wealth management
- At least $50 million of AUM or $500,000 in client revenue
- At least one financial credential (e.g., CFP, CFA, CIMA) preferred
Membership in the League will be capped at 200. League members who are not also members of CFALA are encouraged to join in order to have access to the full range and discount pricing of all CFALA events and services including League events. There are many levels of membership at CFALA that do not require you to be a CFA Charterholder.
