SPEAKER
Darren Chappell, CFA, CAIA | As the Senior Vice President of Investments at Provenio Capital, Darren leads a team of professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional investment solutions and services to our clients. With 18 years of capital markets experience, he has a broad and deep knowledge of trading public markets as well as allocating across alternative investments, including private equity, credit, real estate, and a wide variety of hedge fund strategies.
He conducts comprehensive due diligence of alternative strategies for inclusion in institutional and ultra-affluent investor portfolios, utilizing advanced asset allocation techniques and valuation methods. As Chief Operating Officer he also oversees the firm's internal management strategy and operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Previously, he spent a decade as a macro trader at Moore Capital and Wellington Management, where he developed a keen understanding of global markets and macroeconomic trends.
He is passionate about delivering high-quality results and communicating complex financial concepts to a sophisticated audience. Darren holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations, and is a member of the Milken Young Leader’s Circle.
