Join top China equity analyst Kevin Liu from CICC for his first presentation back in the United States since COVID-19 exploring China's current macro environment, 2H2023 outlook, and what it will take for China's stock market to catch up with its economic recovery.

China's Economy Roars Back – Will Its Stocks Too?
The Bloomberg China Economic Surprise Index shows the most significant positive economic surprise in China's recent macro numbers since 2006. These first quarter numbers include 2.2% GDP growth, retail sales up 10.6%, positive property market growth for the first time in 16 months, and falling urban unemployment. Yet, amidst all the positive momentum, China's stock market has lagged. Geopolitical headlines and the strong US dollar have prevented many Western investors from returning to Chinese equities. Investors within Asia are proceeding with caution too.
