Edwin Choi | Edwin Choi is Co-Founder and CEO of Capitect, a provider of wealth management software that enables advisors to easily construct and implement personalized portfolios. Edwin is also the founder of Mariposa Capital Management, a boutique evidence-based wealth management firm in Los Angeles. Edwin is frequently quoted by the media for his thoughts and opinions on the direction of wealth management technology.
Prior to starting Mariposa, Edwin Choi was a structured credit derivatives trader with Merrill Lynch in New York. He was last a Director managing proprietary investments in index and bespoke tranches, CLOs, and for its short life, ABS correlation products. Back To Top ^^
Sheryl O'Connor | Sheryl O’Connor has spent over 25 years in the financial services industry including stops at insurance and investment management firms where she led strategic business growth and technology innovation.
In 2006, Sheryl co-founded 3D Asset Management, an SEC-registered investment management firm that provides innovative practice management solutions and investment portfolios to fee-based advisors where she built a high performing TAMP. In 2017 Sheryl co-founded a retirement income focused FinTech firm, IncomeConductor, that provides a revolutionary strategy and technology to advisors and their clients that meets the needs of today’s retirees and serves as its CEO.
She is passionate about supporting technology innovation and volunteers as Vice-Chair on the Executive Board of the CT Technology Council and as a global ambassador to encourage women entrepreneurship in technology.
Sheryl and IncomeConductor have received a number of awards and recognitions for their work, including 1st place in the 2018 Female Founders in FinTech global competition, as one of InvestmentNews’ 2021 Icons & Innovators Innovative Firm Award winners, and as a member of ThinkAdvisor’s 2021 Class of Luminaries in the Executive Leadership categories. Min Zhang, CFA | Min Zhang is co-founder of MeFi, a self-custody DeFi neobank for the international middle class who lack equal access to the global financial system.
She is responsible for financial product innovation, user experience, capital markets partnership, growth, legal & compliance at MeFi. Min had over 15 years of experience in investment management and digital transformation at Goldman Sachs, PIMCO, and her fintech startups, Totum and ConsciousCo.
Min holds Series 7, 24, and 63 at Hina Group, where she supports cross-border M&A transactions. Min earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and economics with honors from Dartmouth College. Back To Top ^^
