A Community Outreach Sponsored Event
1 in 4 people in Los Angeles experiences hunger. Fight hunger with us by giving just a little bit of your time! Join us on Saturday, December 5th, 2026, at 8:30AM at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for this volunteer opportunity. Together, we will help with various projects, such as: assembling shelf-stable food packages, assembling 5 lb. produce bags, or sorting through assorted goods. This is a great opportunity to volunteer with CFALA members and give back to our community!
Please note that registration will be in 2 parts: first through CFALA’s website and then through the food bank’s portal. Both registrations will need to be completed by November 30th. Registration for CFALA’s website will close at 12pm (PT) on November 30th.
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has the following requirements:
Minimum age requirement is 18 to participate.
Volunteers MUST be able to lift between 10-25lbs
Must wear closed toe shoes (no crocs, flip flops, sandals, or any shoes exposing your feet.)
We recommend that volunteers wear comfortable clothing, such as jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes.
