Robin L. Deshayes is President and Chief Strategy Officer, Miltonian Capital Management. Prior to founding Miltonian in 2010, Ms. Deshayes was the primary business and finance advisor to a private trust. In that role, she worked with Dr. Folguera at a hedge fund, Pacificor LLC focusing on the area of non-agency mortgage-backed securities. Ms. Deshayes served at Pacificor’s predecessor as a senior legal, compliance, trading, and fund accounting executive. Prior relevant experience includes senior executive positions at technology and consumer companies.
Ms. Deshayes holds a MBA from Pepperdine University, a law degree from Loyola Law School, and a BS in Biology from UCLA. She is a member of the State Bar of California. Ms. Deshayes has successfully completed the Series 65 exam.
Alejandra Folguera, Ph. D., CFA is Chief Investment Officer, Miltonian Capital Management. Prior to Miltonian, Dr. Folguera was a senior credit analyst at hedge fund Pacificor, LLC. She also has a background in applied mathematics and taught at the University of Illinois and UCSB. Dr. Folguera holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Illinois, and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Folguera is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
