Join Dr. Ian Nield for dinner and discourse on the current global regulatory environment. Explore risk appetite and strategies, policy failures and the rules that are there to protect us.
During his professional career to date, Dr Nield has been a scientist, university researcher and lecturer, fund manager, stock broker and central banker. He will shortly be taking a role with the International Monetary Fund in South East Asia. Until recently he was a Special Adviser with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ), a role he held since 2004. As a Special Adviser he was involved with developments across the key policy functions of the RBNZ. He helped with innovations in monetary policy operations, prudential supervision, payment and settlement systems and statistics.
