Congratulations to the CFA Candidates that have successfully passed Level III of the CFA Exam!

We are proud to honor our new CFA Society Los Angeles Charterholders with a special Recognition Dinner. Please join us in honoring these new CFALA Charterholders and recent Pass Level III's with cocktails, dinner, and a recognition ceremony. Regular, Affiliate, and Associate CFALA members receive free registration.

 

We will also be recognizing Robert Hardaway, CFA, for receiving the Special Service Award from CFA Institute! A past president of CFALA, Hardaway was officially recognized in July by the CFA Institute Board of Governors for his "exceptional service to CFA Institute and the investment management profession throughout his career" while he was in Charlottesville, VA, grading CFA Exams for a 28th-consecutive year.

 

Daniel J. Fasciano, CFA, CAIA, CIMT | Dan Fasciano is a member of the CFA Institute’s Board of Governors serving a three year term commencing September 2018. Prior to this, he served for a number of years as the Presidents Council Chair at the CFA Institute and Presidents Council Representative (PCR) representing the Eastern United States. Dan is past Chair of the CFA Society Boston as well a member of its Board of Directors for 11 years. He was awarded lifetime membership at the CFA Society Boston in 2016. 

Dan is Managing Director and Family Wealth Investment Advisor at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In this capacity he serves on the group’s Investment Strategy Committee responsible for $210 billion in client assets. Dan has additional responsibility working directly with a number of the firm’s larger family relationships.

Prior to his return to BNY Mellon, Dan served as Director of the State of Florida’s Treasury Fund and for several years as the Head of US Fixed Income for Aviva Investors, one of the UK’s largest insurance companies and investment advisors.

Dan received his BA from the University of New Hampshire and his MBA from Boston University. In addition to the CFA designation, Dan maintains both the CAIA and CMT designations. Back To Top ^^

Free (CFA Charter Honorees/2018 Pass Level III + one guest**)

$80 (for non member guests or extra guests of CFA Charetr Honorees/2018 Pass Level IIIs)

*CFALA Student Members not eligible for free registration.  

**CFA Charter Honorees/2018 Pass Level III may bring one guest for free; additional guests will be charged the Non-Member rate. 

***Please note that New Charterholders will not recieve Mini Charters if they register after October 28th but will still be eligible for Pass Level III Certificates***

Cancellations
Cancellations must be received in writing by 9:00 am the day prior to the event to receive a refund. No phone cancellations are accepted. Please fax to the CFALA office at (213) 613-1233 or e-mail info@cfala.org. Member “no-shows” will be billed the difference between the member fee and the non-member fee for the event which is posted on the CFALA website.
