A Special Event with Ashvin Chhabra, a pioneer in Goals-Based Investing and CIO of Euclidean Capital
Ashvin Chhabra’s is perhaps the world’s pre-eminent thinker on how to structure investments to match goals. His Wealth Allocation Framework took the private wealth industry by storm nearly a quarter century ago and is now best practice at most major firms. For the first time ever, CFALA members and friends can hear directly from him how the framework can revolutionize their own allocation process, along with implementation details. As Chief Investment Officer of one of the largest family offices in the world, James Simon’s (Renaissance Technologies) Euclidian Capital, Dr. Chhabra will also discuss his view on the opportunities and challenges facing allocators today.

The Simons’ founded the Simons Foundation, which is dedicated to advancing research in mathematics and the basic sciences. It is currently one of the two or three largest private funders of these areas in the United States.
Prior to joining Euclidean Capital, Ashvin was the Chief Investment Officer for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, and prior to that, the Chief Investment Officer at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton.
Ashvin is a member of the investment committees of the Stony Brook Foundation, Institute for Advanced Study, The National Academy of Sciences and Rockefeller University, and he is a member of the Director’s Advisory Board for the International Centre for Theoretical Physics at Trieste, Italy. He has lectured at Yale University, Carnegie Mellon University, Baruch College CUNY and the University of Chicago and holds a PhD in applied physics from Yale University in the field of non-linear dynamics (Chaos theory).
Ashvin is the author of The Aspirational Investor, published by Harper Collins in 2015.
