A Santa Barbara Advisory Council Sponsored
Join CFA Society Los Angeles for our first ever Pickleball Tournament in Santa Barbara at the premier Birnam Wood Golf Club! Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and for good reason. You may be asking yourself, “What is Pickleball?” Pickleball combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong and is great for all ages and experience levels. Pickleball is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes in it. Bring your friends and colleagues for this fun tournament that is open to all experience levels! Experience is not needed many participants will be first-time players.
We will run a ladder format, where everyone is paired up with players at a comparable skill level. Players will rotate on the courts and between games they will be able to network while enjoying appetizers and refreshments courtside. For first-time players or those wanting a refresh, we will provide an introduction covering basic technique and strategy so you can be on your way to winning your first games.
Capacity is limited and we expect the event to fill up quickly, please RSVP at your earliest convenience.
Training and equipment will be provided.
