In preparation for the session with Liz Severyns, she is asking you to read the first chapter of her recent book and take an Enneagram assessment.
The Enneagram is a personality system which provides deep insights into each of our world views, communication styles and decision-making preferences. The Enneagram is a powerful tool for self-awareness, leadership, teambuilding, decision making, communication, and conflict resolution, and we have used it successfully with thousands of investment professionals over the past ten years. Important to note is that there are many subtleties in identifying one's Enneagram type, so please consider this the beginning of your own typing process. You will learn more about the Enneagram in the session.
To help you identify your Enneagram type, we ask that you do the following:
- Read the attached chapter from our newest book, Type, Talent and Teams: Using the Enneagram for Investment Firm Success and consider which of the nine types describes you most accurately.
- Complete the Enneagram type indicator at the link below. It takes about 15 minutes to complete and you will get the results immediately, a number, 1 – 9, possibly with a “wing” (i.e. 3w2). You will also get a ranked list of the 9 types in order of strength. Typically your primary type will be among the top three listed HOWEVER all types should be considered in your typing process.
