A Santa Barbara Group Sponsored Event
An assortment of sandwiches, salads, and drinks will be provided.
Commercial real estate has delivered a 6.5% average annual income over the past 20 years and market participants have historically accessed the opportunity in commercial real estate through equity-based assets. With over $3 trillion in debt outstanding and a growing need for capital, commercial real estate debt represents a sizable and timely opportunity for investors.
Join our session to learn why FS Investments and leading real estate investment manager Rialto Capital teamed up to bring you FS Credit Real Estate Income Trust to meet investors’ income goals while managing risk in today’s changing market environment.
Lara will talk about why income may be a larger driver of returns than rising equity valuations going forward, how commercial real estate debt may help preserve capital in a rising cap rate environment, how it has performed during periods of volatility and what experienced real estate investors look for when lending to commercial properties.
Prior to joining FS Investments, Lara founded her own investment advisory firm, Auctus Wealth Management, where she specialized in tailoring clients’ investments to their financial goals. She began her financial services career at Linden Asset Management and Linden Growth Partners LP. She also spent two years as a statistician in the pharmaceutical industry.
Lara received her MA in Statistics from Columbia University and her BS from Penn State University. She also completed the Private Equity and Venture Capital Executive Education course at Harvard Business School. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and the American Statistical Association. Back to Top ^^
