What does a Goldilocks recovery look like? Porridge not too hot or too cold. Key will be job creation, RE recovery– 4.5% unemployment rate, with low inflation, interest rates. Is U.S. in prolonged recovery?
Harlan Green | Harlan Green has been a Mortgage Loan Officer/Broker in Santa Barbara since 1981, is the President of Bankers Pacific Mortgage, Inc., and a member of the Goleta Evening and Montecito Rotary Clubs for more than 20 years.
He has also been a Goleta Valley Chamber Board member, first Chairman of the Goleta Old Town Advisory Committee that generated the Old Town Redevelopment Plan, a weekly financial columnist for the Santa Barbara News-Press, and is currently a featured financial columnist with the Huffington Post and editor/publisher of the blog, PopularEconomics.com.
As an economist, he is author of The Mystery of Money, Understanding the Modern Financial World, available on Amazon, in local bookstores, taught a finance course at UC Extension, and also participated in the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors semi-annual statistical updates.
