Cliff Quisenberry, CFA, Chief Investment Officer of Caravan Capital Management, manager of The Emerging Frontiers Fund, will discuss his approach to investing in international frontier and early stage emerging markets. Mr. Quisenberry is particularly recognized as a pioneer in following a structured approach to investing in emerging markets, a method he developed in the 1990s as a Portfolio Manager of the Eaton Vance Tax Managed Emerging Markets Fund.

Cliff Quisenberry Jr., CFA is the Chief Investment Officer of Caravan Capital Management. Caravan manages The Emerging Frontiers Fund, which invests in international frontier and early stage emerging markets. 
 
Mr Quisenberry has more than 20 years of investing experience, including more than 15 years in frontier and emerging markets. Prior to founding Caravan in 2008, he served as a Managing Director of International Frontiers Research, which focuses on emerging markets research, as well as Chief Portfolio Strategist for emerging markets at Parametric, a Seattle, WA based subsidiary of Eaton Vance which specializes in structured investing strategies.  Among his duties at Parametric, he served as Portfolio Manager of the Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Emerging Markets Fund (EITEX) from its inception in July, 1998 until April, 2007. Over this period, the EITEX fund consistently ranked in the top-decile of emerging markets funds, was rated 5-star by Morningstar, and outperformed the MSCI Emerging Markets Index by over 500 basis points per annum. Prior to dedicating himself to frontier and emerging markets, he served as a Vice President for Cutler & Co and as a Research Analyst for Fred Alger Asset Management.  
 
Mr. Quisenberry holds a BA in economics from Yale University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He has published in Pensions & Investments and The Journal of Wealth Management; been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News and CNBC; and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
