Raj Sharan | Raj (Rajeev) Sharan, the founder of Yayati, a fintech firm specializing in personalized wealth management technology, brings a practical and innovative approach to the industry. With a focus on developing algorithms that leverage generative AI and optimization techniques, Raj has demonstrated a keen understanding of the evolving landscape.

In his role as a former Quant Portfolio Manager at Savos Investment Management, Raj successfully managed a portfolio exceeding 1 billion dollars in Assets Under Management (AUM), encompassing volatility, equity, and specific ETF-based fixed income strategies. He also gained valuable experience in derivatives risk management during his tenure at Deutsche Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.

Raj holds a Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) from UCLA Anderson and a master's degree in economics from JNU, India. His contributions extend beyond his professional roles, as evidenced by his involvement in the Q Group research committee and his service as a member of the UCLA Anderson Alumni Board.

Andrea Eisfeldt, Ph.D. | Andrea Eisfeldt is the Laurence D. and Lori W. Fink Endowed Chair in Finance at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition to her 23-year career in research and teaching in finance, Andrea has extensive experience in asset management, including as Chief Economist at Structured Portfolio Management and consultant to AQR Capital Management. Currently, as well as serving on the board of the UCLA Investment Company, she is an academic advisor to Vise, a FinTech investment management firm. She speaks frequently at conferences, universities, central banks, and asset-management institutions about her research in fixed income and equity markets and her research on valuing intangible assets is used in institutional investment portfolios. Her academic research has earned numerous best paper prizes and lead article designations, as well as being awarded grants from the National Science Foundation, Banque du France, and Office for Financial Research. Of the US Treasury. Andrea earned a B.S. with highest honors from the College of Commerce at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1994, and received her M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago in 2000.

Marsal Gavaldà | As Chief Technology Officer, he leads Clarity AI’s technology and data science strategy to serve the current and future needs of market participants, corporates and consumers, leveraging his deep expertise in natural language and machine learning technologies. Previously, Marsal headed the Commerce Machine Learning team at Square, where he applied machine learning to Square’s overarching purpose of economic empowerment. Prior to that, he led the Machine Intelligence team at Yik Yak, where he developed natural language processing and machine learning services to analyze the content of messages, discover trends, and make recommendations at scale and across languages. In Marsal’s previous role as Director of Research at MindMeld (acquired by Cisco), he applied the latest advances in speech recognition, language understanding, information retrieval, and machine learning to the MindMeld conversational and anticipatory computing platform. Marsal holds a PhD in Language Technologies and a MS in Computational Linguistics, both from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BS in Computer Science from BarcelonaTech. Marsal is the author of over thirty technical and literary publications, thirteen issued patents, and is fluent in six languages.

Andrew Smith Lewis | Andrew Smith Lewis is a recognized pioneer and thought leader at the intersection of brain science, artificial intelligence, and industry innovation. As the founder and CEO of Alai Studios, he leads a multidisciplinary team that combines cognitive science, data science, and AI to create unique solutions and drive unprecedented value across finance, education, and lifestyle companies. With over two decades of experience, Andrew has co-invented a transformative learning platform, holds nine patents, and has worked with a diverse range of organizations, from K-20 educational institutions to major corporations and US military organizations.

As the Founding Chief Innovation Officer at CAIS, Andrew launched the AI-powered CAIS IQ, equipping advisors with the tools to master alternative investments. He has advised the UAE government on digital educational reform and is a regular speaker at events like Schwab Impact, SALT, SXSW, and the AWS Public Sector Summit. Andrew has also been acknowledged as a U.S. Army TRADOC Mad Scientist, reflecting his contributions to the fields of AI and brain science.
