Since the discovery of MRNA vaccines to tackle the COVID 19 pandemic the biotech sector has seen a boom in investments. In total, the biotech companies raised more than $60bn globally easily outpacing the fund-raising totals of the last decade. Fueled by advances in the development of drugs tackling chronic diseases like diabetes and obesity, the industry is rapidly investing into cell therapy, precision medicine, biologics, gene therapy and life science services/equipment.

With many fascinating areas emerging in biotech investing, venture and private equity funds offer the possibility for outsized and uncorrelated returns. We have gathered three leading founders to discuss the environment and opportunities, including how AI could impact the industry. Get up to speed on this complicated area and learn from some of the best.
