Renuka Kumar | Renuka Kumar is a Managing Director in the Venture Capital Relationship Management group at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). In this role, she draws upon both her knowledge and passion for working with companies in the innovation economy and her investment expertise within capital markets to support tech-focused VCs and their portfolio companies with creative and meaningful banking solutions and connections. Prior to this, Renuka served as the Head of Portfolio Management in SVB’s Asset Management division, overseeing the fixed income investment strategies for both public and venture-backed companies in the technology and life science space. Renuka began her career at SVB over 15 years ago in Corporate Treasury managing the interest rate risk position of the bank, working closely with the bank’s own investment portfolio and broader balance sheet. Her direct relationships with stakeholders within the innovation economy – and being in a position to help them succeed – add meaningful dimensions to her work. Renuka is a CFA charterholder and an active member of the CFA Society of San Francisco, currently serving as co-chair of the society’s Member Programming Advisory Counsel. She also advises and serves as a mentor with Young Women in Finance. Back To Top ^^
