2025-2026 Board of Governors Candidates

The Nominating Commission, hereby submits the following slate of candidates for officers and members of the Board of Governors for the fiscal year 2025-2026

President – Steven Wang, CFA Vice President – Dagney Maseda, CFA Treasurer – Scott Laudeman, CFA Secretary – Julia Bonafede, CFA Immediate Past President – Mariya Entina, CFA Kwadwo Osei, CFA, CPA (2-year term expiring 2027) Oren Cabir, CFA (3-year term expiring 2028) Jason Sampas, CPA, ESQ (3-year term expiring 2028) John DeFonso, CFA (3-year term expiring 2027)** Mary Machado-Schammel (3-year term expiring 2026)** Geoff Schneider, CFA (3-year term expiring 2026)** **Returning Governors not up for reelection Voting will be held at the Annual Meeting on June 12th at BMO Stadium. All Charterholder and Regular members (who are not on professional leave) may vote. CFA Institute Research Challenge in Los Angeles 2025

Congratulations California State University, Fullerton for winning first place at this year's Institute Research Challenge in Los Angeles. They have since advanced from the sub-regional level and will be competing in the Regional Semifinals on April 8th.
