"We make a living by what we do, but we make a life by what we give." -Winston Churchill

The holidays are upon us, and giving back to your community is one of the greatest gifts you can give.  We are inviting all members of the CFALA community to support a great cause to fight hunger in our community.  The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has hundreds of volunteers who assemble food packages for over 23,000 low income seniors, women with infants, and children in Los Angeles County.  The packages consist of food items like canned fruit, canned vegetables, rice, cereal and other non-perishable food items.  Volunteers help sort, inspect, and repackage donated food items from local food drives.  Without volunteers, the Food Bank would not be able to provide food for thousands of hungry people every week.  By giving just a little bit of our time, we can make a big difference in our community!

Additional info:
All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and pants.
You may bring significant others and family members (over the age of 14).
The event starts promptly at 8:30 a.m.
