As part of CFALA's career series CFALA is offering individual career coaching appointments to CFALA members at a discounted rate of $125.

A coaching relationship focuses on two things: setting specific goals and achieving them. The coach helps to define the goals,suggests the plan for successful achievement, and provides thekind of motivation that works uniquely for the individual. The underlying assumption is the client is good at what they do, and is looking to perform at an even higher level.

Cynthia Harrington, CFA, is founder of an executive coaching practice specializing in the investment management industry. She spent thirty years in investment counsel and asset management,and owned her own firm with a large cap value style. She is a widely published financial journalist. She maintains an active network of professional coaches with compatible skill sets, for referrals and for collaborative assignments.
