Since 1984, CFA Society of Los Angeles, Inc. ("CFALA") in partnership with the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business ("USC") has offered CFA® Review Programs for each level of the CFA® Study and Examination Program. In the Spring, we offer both Weekday and Saturday Review Courses for Level I and Level II and a Weekday Review Course for Level III candidates. CFALA also offers a Saturday Review Course for candidates preparing to take the December Level I examination. While live instruction is the cornerstone of our program, candidates are provided with supplemental study tools including a full-length practice examination, access to recorded classroom lectures via the CFALA website, and Schweser Notes and Schweser Pro software.

The Weekday Review Course and the Saturday Review Course provide candidates with a structured, classroom based approach to preparing for the CFA examination. Our programs are designed to assist candidates in mastering the Candidate Body of Knowledge. The focus of the CFA Review Courses is on the comprehension of the assigned materials in the Study Guides with an emphasis on the Learning Outcome Statements ("LOS"). All of the disciplines on the CFA examination are covered in the CFA Review Courses.

Bonus Instruction for Level I Candidates - Accounting Essentials has been incorporated into our Review Program!
The CFA program assumes a working knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles. Many CFA candidates, however, have rusty accounting/financial analysis skills or have never been exposed to these areas through college courses or work experience. The instructor for this course, who has also served as an instructor for the USC/CFALA CFA Review, understands how to bridge this critical knowledge gap. Click Here for more information regarding this class.
